Your privacy is not just a policy; it's our product. DocuSafe was built on the principle of "Zero-Knowledge" architecture.

1. Data We Collect

We believe in data minimization. We only collect what is strictly necessary to provide our service:

• Account Information: Your email address for authentication.
• Payment Data: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see your credit card details.
• Usage Logs: Anonymized metrics to help us improve performance (e.g., app load times).

2. Your Documents & AI Processing

This is the most important part. When you upload a document:

• Encryption: Files are encrypted with AES-256 before they even leave your device.
• AI Processing: The Neural Engine processing happens in a secure, ephemeral sandbox. Once the data (dates, amounts) is extracted, the processing memory is wiped.
• No Training: We do not use your personal documents to train our AI models for other users.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in secure data centers located in the European Union (GDPR compliant) and the US, depending on your selected region. Our storage providers adhere to SOC2 Type II standards.

4. Your Rights

You have full control. You can export all your data or request a permanent deletion of your account directly from the app settings. When you delete, it's gone forever.
